The the world of Dragonball all started with a manga by creator Akira Toriyama. He is most remembered through his
artwork in the Dragonball universe, even though he has worked on other titles. Akira Toriyama worked on the Dragonball
mangas from 1985 up unto 1995 where he finished up the ending of Dragonball Z. After Dragonaball Z had ended,
TOEI Animation asked permission from Toriyama to continue the Dragonball trilogy with a new series called Dragonball GT.
This new series aired in Japan from 1996 to 1997, and was no where near as successful. Toriyama was not directly involved
with Dragonball GT, but he did supervise the development.
Dragonball starts off with a boy named Goku who encounters a young girl by the name of Bulma. From here his
adventures begin when he finds out that Bulma is trying to collect all of the dragonballs. Throughout Goku's travels,
he endure's intense training, meets dangerous enemies, and makes new friends. Goku is an extremely strong and talented
person who fights with goodness in his heart.
DragonballZ is about Goku and the other Z warriors fighting to save Earth from evil. It deals with enemys like Freeza,
Nappa, Cell and others. It also talks about the legendary Super Saiyan. Even though DragonballZ is mostly fighting,
it teads to show courage and strenght. People like Goku, Gohan, and even Vegeta show no fear and never give up.
Dragonball GT mostly involves Goku trying to prevent Earth from being destroyed after he is wished to become a kid again.
He travels the universe with his grandaughter, Pan, and Bulma's son Trunks. Together the three of them fight evil and
desprately search for the black-star dragonballs before time is up.
