Bond's Dragonball/Z/GT Site

This guide includes the names of main and side characters mentioned in the DB, DBZ, and DBGT series.  Most of the names are mentioned from the American translated version.  Some names may contain side names from the Japanese version or only the name from the Japanese Version.  If I am missing any characters, please email the name and a  description of the character.

A

Advisor Black

Second in command of the Red Ribbon Army, Advisor Black helps Commander Red collect the dragonballs under the assumption that Red is going to wish for world domination.  Upon learning that Red plans to wish to become taller, Black shoots him and takes over the army.  His coup is short-lived, however, as Goku kills him and destroys the terrorist organization.

Agent Purple

A martial arts master who is defeated by Goku in Muscle Tower.

Akane Kimidori

Appearing in the Dr. Slump/Dragonball crossover, Akane Kimidori is a tomboy-ish main character of Dr. Slump.

Akkuman

The fourth and final fighter of Baba, Akkuman had a devilish appearance.  He should have been able to kill Goku with ease; however, Goku possessed no evil within him, making him immune to Akkuman's technique of destroying people by awakening their inner evil.

Amondo

Turlas' henchman in the third DragonballZ movie Tree of Might, Amondo is killed by Goku.

Android 8

Android 8 is a Frankenstein looking robot who is ordered to kill Goku after he tries to defeat the Red Ribbon Army.  Android 8 doesn't like to fight and therefore teams up with Goku to deafeat the Red Ribbon Army.  After the defeat of the Red Ribbon Army, Android 8 goes and lives in the snowy mountains in a village.

Android 13

Android 13 was created by one of Dr. Gero's supercomputers with the intent to kill Goku.  Android 13 is in the seventh DragonballZ movie along with androids 14 and 15.  After androids 14 and 15 are destroyed, their parts fuse with Android 13 to create Super Android 13.  Goku later destroys Android 13 by absorbing the energy of a spirit ball and killing Super Android 13.

Android 14

Android 14 was created from Dr. Gero's hatred for Goku just as 13 and 15 were.  Dr. Gero's supercomputer created 14 alongside with 13 and 15.  Android 14 is strong and larger than 13 and 15, but was killed by Trunks with his sword when Trunks went super saiyan.

Android 15

Android 15 is a short android created by Dr. Gero's supercomputer with the sole purpose of killing Goku.  Android 15 hanged alongside with Android 14 fighting Goku and Trunks, but later separated to fight Vegeta.  After a short time of fighting, Vegeta went super saiyan and destroyed Android 15. 

Android 16

Android 16's main purpose for his creation was to kill Goku. 16 is Dr. Gero's strongest android he has ever created.  Android 16 has the ability to read power levels, as he did Cell's when Cell fought Android 17. 16 was most likely created in future Trunks time, but was never activated because Goku died of a heart disease. That is why Trunks was surprise to see him when he went back in time.

Android 17

Android 17 was created to help Dr. Gero destroy Earth.  After Dr. Gero failed the first time because of Goku, he decided to create Androids stronger than him to get the job done.  17 was to later become part of Cell to add in Cell's perfection.  He was absorbed in the present time but was destroyed in the future by Trunks when he traveled back.  Android 17 was wished back after Cell self-destructed an was not heard from again until DragonballGT.  In GT Android 17 fuses with Artificial Android 17 to form Super Android 17.  Super Android 17 is later destroyed by Goku  after going Super Saiyan 4.

Android 18

Android 18's main purpose is just like her twin brother, 17. She was created by Dr. Gero to destroy Earth. She was later absorbed by Cell and completed his perfect form. When Gohan went Super Saiyan level 2, he punched Cell in the gut causing 18 to come out. 18 was then rescued by Krillin and taken to Kami's lookout where Dende stays.  Krillin then later wishes for the bombs inside Android 17 and 18 to be removed.  Android 18 later marries Krillin and has a child named Marron. 18 is nothing like her twin brother. She does not mess around all of the time and seems not to be as thick headed as him.  18 is seen throughout the DragonballZ and GT series.

Android 19

Android 19 is one of the androids alongside Android 20 (Dr. Gero) who is mistaken for the two androids in Trunks time.  Android 19, just as Android 20, can absorb ki through a power blast or through touch.  After Goku is weaken by the heart virus, Android 19 begins winning the fight against Goku.  Vegeta then shows up (with his ego to be the only one to kill Goku) and destorys Android 19 with his Big Bang Attack.

Angela/Angel

Angela develops a crush on Gohan and blackmails him if he doesn't go out with her.  Gohan goes out with her only because he thinks the secret she's blackmailing him with is his Great Saiyaman identity.  Gohan later finds out that the big secret was that Gohan wears teddy bear underwears.  Angela then loses interest in Gohan and goes after another guy.

Angilia/Angira

A henchman of Lord Slug, Angilia is killed when Goku fires Angira's mouth blast back at him.

Annin, a.k.a. Tojoro

Annin is the Guardian of the Furnace of Eight Divinations at the border between Earth and the afterlife.  Goku seeks to put out the fire of the furnace, but is stopped by Annin.  She tells Goku that if he puts out the fire, all the evil spirits will remain on Earth and total darkness will destroy the planet.  It also takes 200 years to reignite the furnace.  After seeing that Goku has the Bansho Fan, she finds a way and helps Goku enter the furnace and fix the hole causing the fire to leak out.

Aoi Kimidori

Appearing in the Dr. Slump/Dragonball crossover, Aoi Kimidori is the sister of Akane.

Aqua

Aqua is a fighter from the east galaxy who fights Goku in the simi-finals of a fighting tournament in the afterlife.  Aqua gains the upper hand after changing the ring into a giant pool of water, but Goku bounces back and wins the match.

Arale Norimaki

The main character of Dr. Slump, Arale is a robot built by Senbe who lives in Penguin Village.  During the Dr. Slump/Dragonball crossover, she saves Goku by defeating Commander Blue.  She makes another appearance in DB movie 3, where she helps Goku defeat General Tao.

Artificial Android 17

Artificial Android 17 was created by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu in the world of infinite losers (hell).  He later merges with Android 17 to form Super 17.

B

Baba

The sister of Master Roshi, Baba is a fortune teller who can see battles in here crystal ball.  Baba is seen througout the Dragonball and DragonballZ series.

Babidi/Babi-Dee

Babidi is the son of Bibidi and is a sorceror who looks like a giant grass-hopper.  Babidi resurrects Majin Buu, with the help of Dabura, in order to rule the universe.  Babidi soon gets on Buu's last nerve with his insults and is killed by Buu.

Baby/Bebi

Baby was created from the DNA of the last King Tuffle, combined with a genectically parasitic organism.  Baby is a Tufful (Tsufurujin in the Japanese Version) from planet Vegeta who wants to get revenge on all saiyans for killing the Tuffles.  Baby first encounters Goku, Pan, and Trunks while they are searching for the Black Star Dragonballs, but is defeated after trying to control Trunks.  Baby then goes to Earth where he attacks and controls Goten, Gohan, and Vegeta.  With Vegeta now being his main host, Baby later takes control of everyone on Earth except for Uub, Buu, and Hercule.  After Goku, Pan, and Trunks return home, the battle begins.  After battling everyone including Baby, Goku later goes Super Saiyan 4 (through transformation into Oozaru and enraged anger via help from Pan's crying) and eventually destroys Baby.

Bacterian

Bacterian is a fighter who never takes a bath and whose attacks revolve around his smelly oder.  He fights Krillin in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai and holds up against him, but is eventually defeated by him.

Bardock

Bardock is the father of Raditz, Goku, and Turlas (still looking into that for him).  Before the birth of Goku, Bardock was put upon a curse to be able to see the future. Bardock tried to warn his fellow saiyans that Frieza would destroy planet Vegeta and kill them all.  No one listened to Bardock, so Bardock lefted out to fight Frieza by himself.  Frieza later then created a giant energy ball and killed Bardock along with planet Vegeta.  Right before Bardock died, he saw Goku and Frieza and knew that he would have his revenge on Frieza through Goku. Even though not much is known about Bardock one thing for sure is that not only does Goku look like Bardock, but he asks just like him.

Bee/Biru

Bee is a dog who was hurt when Buu first found him.  Bee didn't run away from Buu at all and this made Buu wonder why.  After noticing Bee's injury, Buu heals Bee and Bee is now friends with Buu and Hercule.  Bee is now looked  as Hercule's dog since Bee is always with Hercule throughout the remainder of the "Buu Saga".

Bibidi/Bibi-Dee

Bibidi is the creator of Majin Buu and the father of Babidi.  Majin Buu was so evil and powerful that not even Bibidi could control him.  For this, Bibidi had to seal Majin Buu in order to detain him.  After Majin Buu's sealing, Supreme Kai used the opourtunity to kill Bibidi and end the risk of Buu coming back.

Bido

Bido is the strongest of Bojack's henchmen.  Like all of his companions, Bido's past is never revealed.  He is eventually punched in half by Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

Bio Broly

Bio Broly is cloned from Broly by Jaga Bada. He is eventually beat by Goten and Trunks, then later is completely destoryed with a combined kamehameha wave by Goten, Trunks, and Krillin.

Bio Warriors

The Bio Warriors were created by Jaga Bada in the 11th DBZ movie.  Even though they were created to fight Hercule, they were easily defeated by Goten, Trunks, and Number 18 when they showed up.

Blueberry

Henchman of Frieza, Blueberry is dog-like in appearence.  When searching for Vegeta and the dragonballs, he and his teammate Raspberry encounter Bulma, who has a dragonball.  After learning what the dragonballs can do, Blueberry decides to find them himself and take over the galaxy.  He is eventually killed by a giant crab after mistaking it's eggs for dragonballs.

Bojack

Bojack is an incredibly strong warrior who was sealed inside a star by the Kais.  After Goku destroys King Kai's planet, Bojack is freed and takes over the Tenkaichi Budoukai (Fighting Tournament).  After easily beating Trunks, Vegeta, and Piccolo, Bojack fights Gohan.  Bojack is eventually killed by Gohan after he goes Super Saiyan 2.

Bongo

King Gurumesu's terminator-like henchman in the first DB movie, Bongo follows orders without question.  When battling Goku, he is defeated but not killed.

Bon Para, Son Para, Ron Para

Bon Para, Son Para, and Ron Para are the three brothers hired by Mutchy-Motchy to gather the dragonballs.  They use a strange dancing technique to cause their enemies to unwillingly dance until they run out of energy.  When Goku asks for the universe's energy, they help out.

Bora

Father of Upa, Bora protects Korin tower.  When attacked by Mercenary Tao, he is killed but is later restored when Goku gathers the dragonballs.  He is seen again in DBZ when Goku asks for energy to defeat Majin Buu.

Borgose/Totepo

Borgose is an extremely large saiyan who is a member of Bardock's group. He is later killed by Dodoria and his men along with the rest of Bardock's group.

Bulla/Bra

Bulla is Vegeta and Bulma's second child.  She does not make much of an appearance in Dragonball Z, but is seen more in Dragonball GT.  Bulla does not have a Super Saiyan transformation, but she can control her Ki through flying.

Broly/Burori

Broly is a legendary super saiyan who had a power level of 10,000 when he was born.  Broly has a strong hatred for Goku because when they were babys Goku would never stop crying.  Broly's full power was released in DBZ movie 8 when Broly confronted Goku.  Broly was later defeated by Goku, but made a reappearance in DBZ movies 9 and 11.  Broly is the strongest saiyan shown throughout the Dragonball/Z/GT series.

Bubbles

Bubbles is King Kai's monkey who lives on King Kai's planet.  Bubbles helps Goku get use to the high gravity while training on King Kai's planet.

Bujin

The most psychically powerful of Bojack's men, Bujin is easily killed after Gohan transforms into Super Saiyan 2.

Bulma/Buruma

Bulma is very smart, intelligent, and has a short temper.  Bulma first appeared in the DB series and plays an important role throughout the entire Dragonball/Z/GT series.  Bulma has two children with Vegeta named Trunks and Bra.

Bun

Bun is the leader of the stealth ship that Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma accidently board.  Bun's hatred for Frieza and his men dates back to the death of his parents, which occured right in front of him.

Burter/Baata

A member of the Ginyu Force, Burter believes he is the fastest in the universe.  Burter fights Goku alongside with his teammate Jeice, but is defeated by Goku after his 100x normal gravity training.  After Burter is knocked down and out, Vegeta kills Burter by breaking kis neck with his knee.

Butter

Participant in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai (Fighting Tournament), Butter is one of Krillin's opponents.  He underestimates Krillin because of his size, but Krillin beats Butter with ease.

Buyon

A fat monster encountered by Goku in Muscle Tower, Buyon is defeated when Goku knocks a hole in the wall, causing the cold air to freeze him.

C

Captain Chicken

The so-called superhero who participates in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai(Fighting Tournament), Captain Chicken forfeits after seeing Goku and Uub fight.  He pretends to hear the cries of a damsel in distress and runs away.

Captain Ginyu/Ginyu Taicho

Captain Ginyu is the head of the Ginyu Force and is the second strongest next to Frieza.  After Goku arrives on planet Namek, Captain Ginyu is humiliated because Goku is stronger than him.  Captain Ginyu then uses his special ability to change bodies with Goku.  Goku later tricks Captain Ginyu into switching their bodies back and having Captain Ginyu switch bodies with a frog.

Cardinal Mutchy-Motchy

The high priest of Lude, Mutchy-Motchy would terrorize anyone who failed him and his god, Lude, with a whip and a device that turns people into dolls.  He hired the Para brothers to obtain the dragonballs for him so they could resurrect their god.  He was killed when his pet Leon was defeated and blew up.

Cashew

Cashew is one of the minions of Garlic Jr. when Garlic Jr. returns.  He is fairly strong, but is killed like the rest of Garlic Jr. minions.

Catapy

Catapy's from the south quadrant and is Goku's first opponent in the afterlife tournament.  Catapy tries to tickle Goku until he gives up, but Goku breaks free from him and says that Catapy is weak.  Catapy then gets upset and transfroms into a cocoon stage.  Because it will take Catapy twelve-hundred years to hatch from his cocoon, Goku wins by default.

Cell

Cell is Dr. Gero's 21st android who is suppose to be the ultimate fighter.  Cell was created from the cells of all the Z Fighters and Frieza (strange for Frieza because Dr. Gero stopped collecting data after Goku went to Namek).  Cell's design is in an imperfect stage and he must absorb androids 17 and 18 in order to complete his perfect stage.  Cell in the present time was destroyed before he was born.  The Cell in Future Trunks time was killed after Future Trunks returned home prior to Pefect Cell's destruction.  Cell came to the present time by killing a different Future Trunks in a different time period and traveled back in time in his time machine.  After absorbing androids 17 and 18 and reaching perfection, Cell is later completely destroyed by Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

Cell Juniors

These seven small warriors are created by Cell to attack the Z Fighters in hopes of emerging Gohan's true power.  All of the Cell Juniors are equal in strenght to Cell and are too much of a match for the Z Fighters.  After the Z Fighters are badly beat up and Android 16 is completely destroyed, Gohan is enraged with anger and transforms into super saiyan 2.  Gohan then kills all of the Cell Juniors with great ease.

Chapachai/Chachai

Chapachai is a short, fast alien from the east quadrant who fights against Oliebu in the afterlife tournament.  He fights well against Oliebu until he collides with the copies he makes, in which causes Oliebu to win the match.

Chiaotzu/Chaozu

This clown-looking guy is by far the weakest fighter of all the Z Fighters.  In the original Dragonball series in DB movie 3, Chiaotzu is an emperor.  In the Dragonball T.V. series, he is a student of Crane Master.  Chiaotzu has been able to improve his training throughout DB and DBZ, but is still too weak to fight in any major battles.  Chiaotzu's last major battle is the one against Nappa in "The Saiyan Saga".  After his lost to Nappa he continues to train, but is kept behind from future fights due to his weakness.

Chi Chi

Chichi is the daughter of the Ox King, wife of Goku, and mother of Gohan and Goten.  Chichi is first seen in DB when she and Goku meet with each other as kids.  Due to Goku being hungry, he tells Chichi that he wants a bride and mistakes a bride for something to eat.  Goku doesn't understand how much trouble he is getting himself into by this..  After Goku leaves to continue his journey, many years pass until Chichi and Goku meet again.  They both meet at the 23rd Martial Arts Fighting Tournament where Goku doesn't remember who she is until their match.  After Chichi is knocked out of the ring by Goku and he finds out who she is, he then asks Chichi to marry him.  Chichi is also seen in DBZ where she is an over-stressed, worried, highly angered, and mother of two children.  In DBZ, Chichi worries much about Gohan's education, but after Goku's death she focuses more on Goten's training.  She is also seen in DBGT.

Chii Shenron

This evil dragon was created from the wish to restore all those killed during the 25th Fighting Tournament.  The dragon almost kills Pan by tricking her inside its body; however, Goku frees her and kills the dragon, restoring the seven-star dragonball.

Chindai Ken

Owner of a martial arts school, Chindai Ken is a master of the Seikyokuryuken.  Unfortunately, he suffers from a disease that quickly drains his energy.

Chinshyou Ken

Son of Sensei Chindai, Chinshyou Ken, like Vegeta, is proud of his strenght and thinks Goku is weak.  To prevent Goku from participating in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, he puts a laxative in his soup.

Chyao

Goku saves this little girl during his second trip around the world.  After he saves her, she asks him to save her entire village from Ginkaky and Kinkaku.

Chyuri

Met by Goku during his training with Mr. Popo, Chyuri asks Goku to help her find her lost bird.  Having a good heart, Goku helps her.

Cocoa

This small child was to be sacrificed in the 10th DBZ movie to save her village from a monster.  When Videl, Goten, and Tunks arrive, she is spared.  In return they promise get rid of the monster themselves, but things aren't what they seem.

Commander Blue

Incredibly powerful, Commander Blue's only weakness is his fear of mice.  He and Goku fight in mid-air after he tries to kill everyone with a time bomb.  Both crash into the mountains near Penguin Village.  When Blue returns to the Red Ribbon Army base, he is killed by Mercenary Tao.  Commander Blue is also seen in DB movie 3, where he is known as Lieutenant Blue and works for Emperor Choazu.  He is soon killed by General Tao after trying to challenge him.

Commander Red

The leader of the Red Ribbon Army, Commander Red secretly wanted the dragonballs to wish to become taller.  His minnions thought he wanted the dragonballs so he could take over the world, but when Advisor Black finds out the truth, he shoots Commander Red.  Advisor Black then takes over the Red Ribbon Army.

Cooler/Coola

Cooler, Frieza's brother, goes to Earth after discovering that Frieza was killed by a saiyan named Goku in DBZ movie 5.  Now out for revenge, Cooler searches for Goku with the intent on killing him and destroying planet earth.  Cooler is stronger than Frieza and has one more transformation than him too.  Goku is beaten badly by Cooler, but after Goku goes super saiyan Cooler is finished.  Cooler Returns again in DBZ movie 6, where he enslaves the citizens of the new Planet Namek.  Cooler, now a cyborg, beats Goku and Vegeta badly, now that he can reproduce his metallic cells.  Goku and Vegeta later confront the real Cooler inside the Gete Star and destroy him.  This puts an end to Cooler and his reign.

Crane Master/Tsurusennin

Teacher of Tien and Chiaotzu, Crane Master is Master Roshi's rival.  Both Crane Master and Master Roshi have always competed in everything sense they were teenagers.  Both came from the same martial arts school back when they were younger.  At the 22nd Martial Arts Fighting Tournament, Crane Master's stundent's face off against Master Roshi's s students.  After learning of Crane Master's evilness, Tien and Chiaotzu leave his school.  An enraged Crane Master now tries to attack his former pupils, but is blown away by Master Roshi's kamehameha wave.

Cymbol

King Piccolo's second offspring, Cymbol is sent to find the dragonballs.  While attemping to steal Goku's dragonball, he is cooked and eaten by Yajirobe.

D

Dabura/Doubler

Overlord of the demon world, Dabura travels to Earth with Babidi in hope of gathering enough energy to resurrect Majin Buu.  With his special ability, he turns Krillin and Piccolo into stone before being eaten by Buu.

Daigorou Kurigashisa

Appeared in the Dr. Slump/Dragonball crossover.

Dai Kaio/Dai Kaioshin

Dai Kaio is the leader of all the Supreme Kais on their sacred planet.  He saves East Supreme Kai from Majin Buu's deadly attack and then blows Majin Buu into pieces.  Majin Buu then reforms himself and absorbs Dai Kaio, which then transforms him into Fat Buu.
 

Daisuko

Daisuko, a sumo-like fighter, competes in the tournament shown in the 9th DBZ movie.  After reaching the finals, he, like others, is sent to a second island to compete.  He is killed almost instantly by Bido.

Daizu

One of Turlas' minions in the 3rd DBZ movie, Daizu is killed by Goku.

Dende

Dende is a small Namek who was rescued from Dodoria by Gohan and Krillin.  Dende is taken from his village after his family is killed and later aids Gohan and Krillin to summon Porunga.  Later after the appearance of Cell, Piccolo and Kami fuse together and Dende is brought to Earth to become its new guardian.  Dende also creates new dragonballs which now allows for two wishes to be made.

Dodoria

Dodoria, one of Frieza's henchmen, is killed by Vegeta after revealing to him the truth about planet Vegeta's destruction.

Doll-Tucky

This reclusive prophet of Lude is fascinated with dolls, especially the Pan doll.  During his infrequent public appearances, he performs phony miracles to dupe his followers.  He eventually turns all of Lude's followers into dolls so Lude can steal their energy and revive himself.

Domma

Domma, Lenne's betrothed, joins Goku and the others when they face Zunama, despite thinking that he didn't stand a chance of returning alive.

Doore

Doore, one of Cooler's henchmen, is killed by Piccolo when he chases after Gohan.

Dorodabo

Dorodabo, Lord Slug's gargoyle-like henchman, is killed by Piccolo.

Dr. Briefs

Dr. Briefs is husband to Mrs. Briefs and father to Bulma.  Dr. Briefs is a mechanical genius who shows for his work in DBZ.  He redesigns Kami's old spaceship, builds two spaceships of his own, and repairs Android 16.  There is a spaceship from Capsule Corp. used to travel to the new planet Namek in DBZ movie 6, but this one could probably be the one that never took off to the original planet Namek.

Dr. Frappe

Dr. Frappe is the creator of Android 8 and is held in imprisonment by the Red Ribbon Army.  When Android 8 refuses to fight Goku, Goku saves both Dr. Frappe and Android 8.  Dr. Frappe afterwards removes the bomb inside Android 8.

Dr. Gero, a.k.a. Android 20

Dr. Gero is a scientist from the Red Ribbon Army who traces all of Goku's training and fights up until Goku travels to Namek after defeating the Red Ribbon Army.  He builds Androids 16, 17, 18, 19, and recreates himself as Android 20.  He is later killed by Android 17, and makes a reappearance in DBGT.  In DBGT, he teams up with Dr. Myuu to create Artificial Android 17 to form Super Android 17.  He is later killed again by Super Android 17.

Dr. Kochin

Dr. Kochin is Dr. Wheelo's assistant and whose job is to find the strongest warrior on Earth for him.  Due to many years of maintaining Dr. Wheelo's brain, Dr. Kochin became to old and was replaced by a robot.

Dr. Kori

The scientist in the 11th DBZ movie who helped create bio Broly.

Dr. Myuu

Dr. Myuu is the genuis responsible for creating Baby.  After being killed by his creation, he is sent to the world of infinite losers (hell), where he meets Dr. Gero.  The both of them create Artificial Android 17, who later mergers with the original Android 17 to create Super 17.

Dr. Raichii

This scientist is the main villian of the DBZ OVA special.  In the attempt to rid the universe of the Saiyan, he sends Destron gas-emitting machines to Earth, capable of destroying all life.  The Z Fighters destroy all but one, which is protected by an unbreakable energy shield.  Traviling to the dark planet to face Dr. Raichii, the Z Fighters fight and easily kill the docter; however, his cyborg proves more problematic.  Combining all of their ki attacks, the heroes destroy the cyborg, causing the gas machine to explode.

Dr. Wheelo/Dr. Willow

Dr. Wheelo was one of the smartest men on Earth, once imprisoned inside a thick sheet of ice.  Dr. Kochin gathers the dragonballs and wishes the ice to melt in order to free Dr. Wheelo's brain.  Dr. Wheelo wants the body of the strongest fighter on Earth and seeks out Master Roshi.  After finding out that Goku is the world's strongest, he sets his sights on him instead.  After failing to take Goku's body, he decides that Goku is too strong and wants to kill Goku and his friends, but is eventually destroyed.

Dracula Man

The first fighter of Baba, Dracula Man is fast and has the ability to change into a bat.  He wins his first battle by sucking blood from Krillin's head.  He is defeated by Upa and Puar when they use crosses and garlic to trick him into flying out of the ring and then smack him into the water.

Drum

Created to finish off Tien, Drum was King Piccolo's third child.  When Goku arrives to help, he easily kills him.

E

East Kai/East Kaio

East Kai is the only female of the Kais and enjoys bike racing.  In order to compete in the afterlife fighting tournament, Goku had to beat her in a race.

East Supreme Kai, a.k.a Supreme Kai/East Kaioshin

East Supreme Kai is the last of the Supreme Kais.  Being the only survivor of Majin Buu's attack, after Bibidi seals Majin Buu in a ball, he then kills Bibidi to prevent Majin Buu from ever returning.  After Supreme Kai finds out the Bibidi had a son named Babidi who wants to release Majin Buu, he travels to Earth alongside with Kibito in order to stop him.  Unable to stop the release of Majin Buu, he then relies on Gohan and the Z Sword.  After the Z Sword and Gohan's new powers fail, his last resort is to give Goku the Potara earrings.

Ebichiyu

A contender in the GT Tenkaichi Budoukai (Fighting Tournament), Ebichiyu makes it to the semi-finals.

Ebifurya

Ebifurya is one of the bio-warriors of Dr. Wheelo in the second DBZ movie.  His special attack is a freeze blast which can immobilize opponents.  He is eventually killed by Goku.

EC3

This robot from planet M-2 faces off with Goku after he and Trunks escape from the scanner.  He has the abilities like most of the robots of M-2, which include sinking into walls and floors.  When Goku blasts them all with Ki attacks, they combine and form the Mega Cannon.  After Goku learns the Mega Cannon's techniques, he  becomes bored with it and destroys it with a kamehameha.

EC4

Another robot from planet M-2, EC4 is sent to take care of Pan after learning her fighting techniques from Giru's data.  Unfortunately, even Giru didn't know Pan's true power; upon learning what Giru had done, Pan cries and releases her anger on EC4, destroying him.

Elder Supreme Kai/Rou Dai Kaioshin, a.k.a Old Kai and Ancestor

Elder Supreme Kai is 15 generations older than the current Supreme Kai and was the previos East Supreme Kai.  The reason he is still alive is because he was trapped within the Z sword.  After Gohan frees the Z Sword and finishes training with it, he tests the sword's cutting ability.  While tryng to cut the hardest metal in the universe, the Z Sword breaks and Elder Supreme Kai is set free.  After making a bet with Goku to be able to kiss an earthling woman, Elder Supreme Kai uses his power to awaken Gohan's true hidden power.

Eliza

A classmate of Gohan's at Orange Star High School, Eliza seems attracted to Gohan, asking him to sit next to her and for a ride home.

Emi

Emi is one of the children aboard the stealth ship of orphans that Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma become trapped in on their way to Namek.  When Krillin and Gohan try to convince the orphans that they aren't enemies, she kicks Krillin in the shin.

Emperor Pilaf

Emperor Pilaf contends continually with Goku for the search for the dragonballs.  Always coming close to wishing for world domination, something always happens to stop him.  The first time he was going to make a wish, Oolong interrupted the wish for a pair of girl panties.  The second time, he found the Black Star dragonballs and accidentally wished for Goku to become a kid.

Evil Buu

Evil Buu is the good half of Fat Buu.  After Bee is shoot, Buu gets enraged with anger and splits into two seperate Buus.  Evil Buu and Good Buu fight, but Evil Buu evenually wins to form Super Buu.

F

Fasha/Seripa

Fasha is the only female in Bardock's group and is later killed by Dordoria and his men along the rest of Bardock's group.

Frieza/Freezer

Frieza is first seen in the Namek Saga of the DBZ series.  He goes to Namek in order to gather the dragonballs so he can wish for immortality.  Frieza has four transformation states and uses them all before his fight with Goku.  He is later defeated by Goku after he kills Krillin, causing Goku to go Super Saiyan.  He later returns in the Android Saga to Earth as a cyborg with his father, but both are killed by Future Trunks.  He also makes different appearances throughout DBZ and DBGT, including one in DBZ movie 12.

Future Trunks/Mirai no Trunks

Future Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma in the future.  Vegeta was killed by Androids 17 and 18, so Future Trunks never knew his father.  All of the Z Fighters except for Gohan were also killed by the androids, but years later Gohan eventually is killed by the androids.  Future Trunks goes back in time before the Androids come so he can warn the Z Fighters and gives Goku the antidote to his heart virus.  He also kills Frieza and King Cold when they come to Earth.  He later makes more appearances throughout the Android Saga to help the Z Fighters defeat the androids.  He also makes another appearance in DBZ movies 7, 8, and 9.

G

Gajira Norimaki

A pair of angels who speak a language understood only by Arale, Gajira Norimaki appear in the Dragonball/Dr. Slump crossover.

Garlic Jr.

Garlic Jr. is the son of Garlic Sr. and appears in DBZ movie 1.  After his father fails to become guardian of Earth and loses in a battle against Kami, Garlic Jr. tries to get revenge on Kami.  Garlic Jr. gathers all of the dragonballs, while in the process kidnaps Gohan, so that he can wish for immortality.  After completing his wish, he begins his assault on Kami, but turns his attention towards Goku and Piccolo when they challenge him.  Garlic Jr. has enough of fighting Goku and Piccolo and tries to suck them into the "Dead Zone".  Afraid for his father, Gohan becomes enraged with anger and ends up knocking Garlic Jr. into the "Dead Zone".  Later in between the Namek Saga and the Android Saga, Garlic Jr. escapes from the "Dead Zone" is back for revenge again.  He is again defeated by Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan.

Garlic Sr.

Garlic Sr. is the father of Garlic Jr.  Garlic Sr. went up against Kami for guardian of Earth.  After losing to Kami, Garlic Sr. tried to destroy Kami with an army of darkness and failed.  Kami sealed Garlic Sr. and his army of darkness in a cyrstal to stop him.

Gasuteru

This giant demon from the second movie travels by means of clouds and fights using ribbons.

General Rilldo/Rirudo Shogun

General Rilldo is Dr. Myuu's top creation besides Baby and has the special ability to transform things into metal. After obtaining the fighting data on Pan, Trunks, and Goku from Giru, him and Goku eventually fight where he sess that Goku is stronger than Giru's data. He then combines with the Sigma Force Cannon parts to become Meta-Rilldo. Still unable to defeat Goku he transforms into a form that allows him to become one with the metal on the planet. He is eventually killed by Goku and is not seen again until hell is opened, where he is then killed again by Goten and Trunks.

General Silver

The first member of the Red Ribbon Army who faces off against Goku, General Silver is beaten but not killed.

Ginger

This short, green henchman of Garlic Jr. in DBZ movie 1 is killed by Goku's kamehameha.

Ginkaku

Ginkaku is the younger brother of Kinkaku.  They are defeated by Goku, who forces them to work for the people of a village.

Giru

Goku, Pan, and Trunks meet Giru, also known as T-2006, on planet Imegga.  After Giru eats the dragon radar, the heroes have no choice but to take him with them.  The gang eventually discovers that Giru is Dr. Myuu's servant; however, the robot betrays his master to help his new friends.  After finding all seven black star dragonballs, they return Earth.  Accompanying Trunks back to Capsule Corporation, Giru meets Vegeta.  After learning that Bebi had taken control of Vegeta, Giru attempts to confront him but is destoyed in a ki blast.  Giru doesn't return until the evil Shenrons are defeated and the original Shenron restores all life.

Girun/Giran

Girun was one of Goku's opponents in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai (Martial Arts Fighting Tournament).  He uses merry-go-round to immobilize Goku, and then throws him out of the ring.  Goku is saved by Nimbus and breaks free from the hold.  Girun then gives up the fight.

Gogeta

Gogeta is the fused form of Goku and Vegeta through the fusion dance.  Gogeta appears in DBZ movie 12, and in the Shenlong Saga of DBGT.

Gohan

Gohan is the son of Goku and Chichi and excels in both fighting and studying.  After the battle with Radditz, Gohan is trained by Piccolo so that he can learn how to control his powers.  Being mixed between human and saiyan, Gohan's powers far exceeded even Goku's: the angrier Gohan gets, the stronger he becomes.  Gohan was even the first one to go super saiyan 2 before anyone else.  After the defeat of Cell, Gohan focused his time on school and using his alter ego Great Saiyaman to fight crime.  Gohan was later forced into battle again when the threat of Buu reawakening came into play.

Goku

Goku is the main character throughout the DB/Z/GT series.  First sent to earth to destroy it, after hitting his head he became a loving and caring boy.  Raised by his Grandpa Gohan, Goku is cared for and trained under him until he tragically kills him through his Oozaru transformation.  He begins his journey when he runs into Bulma and the rest all come into play.  Goku marries the Ox King's daughter Chichi and has two sons, Gohan and Goten.  Throughout the entire DB/Z/GT series, Goku achieves super saiyan levels 1-4 before he merges with Shenron.  After merging with Shenron, it is unknown exactlly what happened to Goku after that.  During the fight between Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. at the end of DBGT, Pan sees a glimpse of Goku watching the fight.  Goku also appears in the DBGT TV Special when he talks to Goku Jr. after Goku Jr. completes his search for the fourth star dragonball.

Goku Jr.

Goku Jr. is the third-generation decendant of Goku.  He is the grandson of Pan, but it's never known who his parents were.  He only makes one appearence at the end of the Dragonball GT series, featuring 100 years later.  Goku Jr. is the main charater of the Dragonball GT TV Special.  At the beginning he is a coward until Pan is sick.  After Pan is hospitalized, Goku Jr. embarks on a mission to Mount Paozu to find the fourth star dragonball and wish for Pan to get better.  He's join by Pahku, the bully who always picks on him.  They become friends after saving each others' lives.  When Goku Jr. eventually finds the dragonball, he is confronted by Goku.  Goku explains to him that he needs all seven dragonballs to make a wish.  Goku also explains that to save a loved one, one needs courage and not mystical balls.

Gokua

The swordsman of Bojack's team, Gokua was very strong being that he was able to fight evenly against Trunks.  However, once he transforms into a Super Saiyan Gokua is easily defeated.

Goten

Goten is the second son of Goku and Chichi.  Conceived sometime little before the androids appear, Goten was born later on after Cell was destroyed.  Goten, just as Trunks, was able to become super saiyan at a very young age and without enraged anger.  Him and Trunks are best friends, most likely because they can play with each other and not worry about hurting themselves.  After Buu is resurrected, Goten practices the Fusion Dance with Trunks in hopes of defeating Buu.  In Dragonball GT, Goten is more of a lady's man and does not focus alot on his training.

Gotenks

Gotenks is the fused form of Goten and Trunks through the Fusion Dance.  Due to him being so young, he never takes any of his fights seriously.  After training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gotenks is able to transform into Super Saiyan 3.  Gotenks then almost defeats Buu, but fails due to wasting valuable time through countless named moves and arrogance before his fusion wears off. 

Gozu

Gozu competes with Goku, along with Mezu, in the infinite world of losers (hell).  Gozu loses his match against Goku and watches Goku compete and win against Mezu, but leads Goku down a path that takes him all the way back to the start of Snake Way.

Grand Kai/Dai Kaio

Said to be the afterlife's strongest warrior, Grand Kai is the head of all the Kais.  He presides over the afterlife fighting tournament and promises to personally train the winner.  With Goku and Pikkon in the final match being considered out-of-bounds, no one is pronouced the winner.

Grandpa Gohan

Grandpa Gohan was friends with the Ox King and Master Roshi before he was killed.  He found Goku all alone and took him as his own Grandson.  Goku was hard to raise until one day he hit his head.  After that, Gohan was able to control Goku and taught him martial arts.  Unaware of Goku's Oozaru transformation, Gohan was eventually crushed.  Gohan returns twice in the Dragonball series; once during Baba's fighting tournament and again when Goku and Chichi set off to find a way to stop the flames trapping the Ox King.

Great Saiyaman

Great Saiyaman is the secret identity that Gohan uses to fight crime in.  Always using special poses and catchy phrases, he is never taken seriously.  His identity is later revealed during the 25th Martial Arts Fighting Tournament when he powers up to transform into super saiyan, causing the bandages to come off.

Great Saiyaman 2

Great Saiyaman 2 is Videl's secret identity she uses to fight crime in.  Great Saiyaman 2 is seen once in the DBZ series and in DBZ movie 13.

Gregory

A small, cricket-like alien, Grgory was the second step in King Kai's training.  The student would be given a large mallet and would have to successfully hit Gregory with it.  This training was to help the student develop speed.

Guldo/Gurudo

Guldo is the weakest member of the Ginyu Force.  He has the ability to freeze time as long as he can hold his breath.  He can also freeze his opponent's mind, restricting any movement from them.  After freezing Krillin and Gohan, he becomes so involed with them that he is eventually killed by Vegeta.

Guru

Guru is the eldest Namek on the original planet Namek and the creator of the Namekian dragonballs.  Before he passes away, he unlocks Krillin and Gohan's hidden powers.

Gyoshu

Devil looking henchman of Lord Slug, he is killed by Slug when he insulting Slug's age.

H

Hacchi

Chinese orphan, Gohan met him when he escaped from Piccolo.

Hasukii

Thief employed by the Red Ribbon Army, Kasukii was hired for 1,000,000 Zeni to steal Goku's dragonball.  She never succeeded

Hero/Shen

Hero is really Kami taking control of a fighter in the tournament in order to hide his true identity.  Hero (Kami) competes in the 23rd Martial Arts Fighting Tournament in order to defeat Piccolo (Jr.).  Kami attempts to use the evil containment wave to trap Piccolo just as King Piccolo was, but Piccolo reverses it and traps Kami.  Kami is later released during Piccolo and Goku's match.

Hiredugarn

Hiredugarn was extremely powerful and destructive.  He was cut in half and then trapped inside Tapion and Minosha through the help of two special ocarinas.  Through the power of the ocarinas, Tapion and Minosha were able to immobilize Hiredugarn's power and keep him under control.  Later, through the help from Hoi and the mistake of releasing Tapion from his imprisonment, both halves of Hiredugarn were released and restored.  Hiredugarn was completely unstoppable, but was eventually destroyed by Goku.

Hoi

Hoi came to Earth to seek the other half of Hiredugarn so that he could make him whole again.  He caused Minosha to lose his ocarina, thus releasing one half of Hiredugarn and causing the death of Minosha.  After Tapion is released from his imprisonment, he evetually knocks Tapion's ocarina from his hand causing the second half of Hiredugarn to come out.  He is then soon killed by Hiredugarn.

Holly

Buu talks to Holly when boarding a spacechip to Baby's new tuffle planet.

I

Icarus/Hire Dragon

Icarus is Gohan's best friend that he has as a child growing up. ChiChi never liked Icarus being around for fear of him disturbing Gohan's studies. Icarus is seen in some of the DBZ episodes and in a few movies.

Idarsa

A rude kid, he participated in the youth division of the 25th Tenkaich Budoukai (Martial Arts Fighting Tournament). Angry that his first oppenent was Trunks, he constantly insults him. Without even trying, Trunks defeats Idarsa.

Iedei

This giant muntant bug belonged to the Arlian King. It was to kill both Nappa and Vegeta, but was not match for them and was killed.

Ikose

Brother of Idarsa, Ikose also participated in the youth division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai (Martial Arts Fighting Tournament). Like his brother, he was rude and angry that his opponent was a little kid. Ikose was easily defeated without much effort from Goten.

Inoshikachyou

Inoshikachyou was a large boar that Tien and Chiaotzu used as part of their con act. Inoshikachyou would destroy a town, then Tien and Chiaotzu would step in and pretend to kill him in exchange for money. They would travel from town to town performing this can, until Goku interferes and ruins it.

Invisible Man

The second fighter of Baba's fighting tournament, invisible man faces off against Yamcha. Unable to see him, Yamcha is beat pretty badly. Krillin gets an idea and sends Bulma to get some ketchup from Master Roshi. When Bulma and Master Roshi get back, the ketchup is spilt on invisible man now making him visible. He then cowards and quits the match. In the original Japanese Version, Krillin gets Bulma to get Master Roshi (no ketchup). When Bulma returns with Master Roshi, Krillin positions them and pulls off Bulma 's shirt, causing Master Roshi to shoot blood from his noise on Invisible Man now making him visible.

J

Jackie Chun

Jackie Chun was the identity Master Roshi used when competing in the Martial Arts Fighting Tournament to avoid being recognized. He won the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai after beating Goku, but in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai he lost to Tien after purposely stepping out of the ring.

Jaga Badda

Jaga Badda is Hercules jealous cousin. He blackmails Hercule into going to his island to face off aginst his bio warriors. He also creates a clone of Brolli, well known as Bio Brolli.

Janemba

Result of all evil to have been passed through hell, Janemba was formed due to a kid demon's neglect to watch the evil cleansing machine. At first, Janemba was a extremly large, playful yellow spirit-like demon. After being defeated by Goku, he transforms into a smaller red demon which neither Goku nor Vegeta can beat. Once successful in the fusion dance, Gogeta destroys Janemba quite easily.

Jeice

Jeice is a member of the Ginyu Force. After attempting to beat Goku, alongside with Burter, he runs away when Goku easily defeats Recoome and Burter. He later fights Vegeta thinking that he is still weaker than him, but Vegeta proves him wrong and destoys him with a ki blast.

Jewel

Runner up in the 24th Tenkaichi Budoukai, Jewel thought of himself as a ladies man. In the 25th Tekaichi Budoukai, Jewel was immediatly knocked out of the ring by Android 18 during the battle royal for trying to hit on her.

Jinku

Orphan met by Gohan after escaping from the wilderness, Jinku had the physical features of a fox. He, like all the others, are taken to the orphanage.

K

Kakao

The android member of Turlas team in DBZ Movie 3, Kakao first battles Yamcha and rather easily beats him. He is evetually killed by Goku.

Kaichyuu Oyaku

Kaichyuu Oyaku is a family of giant worm-like creatures that Vegeta and Goku encounter while searching for Gohan and the others in Buu's body. They had incredibly powerful exoskeletonssince the head of the family took ki blasts from both Goku and Vegeta without even being stunned. When it is discoverd that they are not enemies, Goku and Vegeta continue their search.

Kaizoku Robo

A giant robot constructed by pirates to guard their treasure, Kaizoku Robo is beaten easily by Goku. His main weapons are the machine gun he has for an arm, which never runs out of ammo, and a flame thrower.

Kami

Kami is the guardian of Earth. He tried to become guardian a long time ago, but was denied due to him having evil in his heart. He then split himself into one half all good, one half all evil, thus creating Piccolo in the process (also known as King Piccolo later on). Since they were originally from the same form, if one dies so does the other. Kami was still able to survive when Goku killed King Piccolo because before King Piccolo died, he created an offspring of himself, Piccolo, who was exactly like him in complete form. This still kept the spirtiual link between Kami and Piccolo with Piccolo being the evil half.

Kanassajins

These are the people whom Bardock and his group are attacking in the beginning of the Bardock story movie. The Kanassajins have powerful psychic abilitiesand knew that the Saiyans were going to kill them.

Kargo

Child Namekian, Kargo was killed when Dodoria attacked Dende and Muuri's village.

Karinto

Met by Goku during his training with Mr. Popo, Karinto was the one that Goku was seeking to teach him "Quiet Like the Sky".

Kenpau Ka

A street fighter who offers people 100,000 zeni if they can beat him, Kenpau Ka fights Goku and loses very easily.

Kibito

None of his past is revealed, but he is the assistant of the Supreme Kai. He is killed by Dabura, but is resurrected when Shenron is summoned by Bulma after Vegeta killed many spectators of the Tenkaichi Boudukai. He has the special ability to heal others and perform instant transmission. He later fuses with Supreme Kai with the potara earrings when he demonstrates the power of the earrings.

Kibitokai, a.k.a. Kibitoshin

Kibitokai is the combined form of the Supreme Kai and Kibito through the potara earrings. He has the wisdom of the Supreme Kai and the special abilites of Kibito, but does not talk with a dual voice as Vegetto did.

Kid Katsu

Contender in the GT Tenkaichi Budoukai, Kid Katsu made it to the semi-finals.

Kid Buu, a.k.a. Majin Buu

Kid Buu is the orginal form of Majin Buu.  This is Majin Buu's strongest and most deadliest form.  He fights without any restraint and lives only to kill.  Kid Buu later fights Goku and Vegeta on the sacred planet of the Supreme Kais after he destroys Earth.  After a power struggle battle, Buu is completely destroyed by Goku with a Spirit Bomb.

Killa/Killer

Killa competes in the 25th Martial Arts Fighting Tournament (Tenkaichi Budoukai) and advances to the free-for-all match between 18, Jewel, Hercule, and Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks in disguise).

King Choppa

King Choppa survived Tamborine's attack on all of the participants of the Martial Arts Tournament.  He fights Goku in the elimination round for the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament and is easily deafeated by him.

King Cold

King Cold is the father of Frieza and Cooler. He travels with Frieza to planet Earth after finding and repairing him. He is later killed by Future Trunks with a ki blast. He makes a couple more appearences in the DBZ series in the Infinite World of Losers (Hell).

King Furry

King Furry is a dog-looking guy who is the first ruler King Piccolo goes after to start his world domination.

King Piccolo/Piccolo Daimoa

King Piccolo is the evil half of Kami and was sealed away with the evil containment wave by Master Roshi's sensei (teacher).  To conquer the world, he is released by Emperor Pilaf to help kill Goku and collect the dragonballs.  Before being killed by Goku, King Piccolo gives birth to Junior, who is later and better known as Piccolo.

Korin/Karin

Grower of the Senzu Beans and protector of the sacred water, Korin lives in a tower a little below Kami's lookout. He is very wise and intelligent and in the DB series he helps Goku train to defeat Mercenary Tao. He is later seen more throughout the DB and DBZ series providing Senzu Beans.

L

Li Shenron

Li Shenron is the strongest and most evil of the Shenrons and was the last one Goku had to face up against. Even at Super Saiyan 4, Goku could not beat Li Shenron. When Vegeta arrived and went Super Saiyan 4, him and Goku fused to become Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. After joking around with his incredible power Gogeta was soon about to destroy Li Shenron once and for all, but due to Gogeta's immense power the fusion only lasted for 20 minutes instead of thirty. Goku and Vegeta later become normal saiyans and all seems lost until Goku destorys Li Shenron with a spirit bomb, thus returning Shenron back to normal.

M

Majin Buu

Majin Buu is the formation of Kid Buu after absorbing South Kai and Dai Kaio.  Majin Buu asks so childish due to after absorbing Dai Kaio, he also absorbed his innocent spirit.  Majin Buu is freed by Babidi and follows his orders.  After constant insults from Babidi, Majin Buu later kills Babidi and follows his own orders.  Majin Buu later becomes friends with Hercule and a dog named Bee.  After Bee is shoot, Majin Buu gets enraged with anger and spilts into Good Buu and Evil Buu.  Good Buu tries to change Evil Buu  into chocolate, but it is backfired at him.  Good Buu is then absorbed (by being eaten) by Evil Buu and transforms into Super Buu.  After the Buu Saga, Majin Buu is no longer known as Majin Buu, but just as Buu.  He later combines with Uub in the DBGT series to form Super Uub.

Malaka

Green Alien who works in the health care unit in the DBZ Movie of Bardock's Story.

Maryiko/Mariko

Maryiko is a fighter from the west galaxy who fights Goku in the finals of the afterlife tournament.  Maryiko puts up a decent fight against Goku, but Goku ends up throwing him out of the ring by the tail.

Master Mutaito

Master Mutaito was Master Roshi and Crane Master's teacher when they where young.  He traps King Piccolo with the evil containment wave, but loses his life in the process.

Medamatcha/Medametcha

Medamatcha is a weird looking frog guy who has the ability to create small energy-sucking creatures of himself. He attacks Gohan and sucks his energy, but when he tries it on Goku he is easily killed.

Mercenary Tao/Tao Pai Pai

Mercenary Tao is a professional assassin and brother of the crane master.  He was hired by the Red Ribbon Army to kill Goku and left him for dead, but a dragonball under Goku's shirt saved his life from Mercenary Tao's blast.  After Goku receives training from Korin, he faces off against Mercenary Tao again and defeats him with his own bomb.  After being blown to bits, Mercenary Tao returns as a cyborg in the 23rd Martial Arts Fighting Tournament with his sites on killing Goku and defeating Tien.  After he badly injures Choatzu, Tien later faces Tao in the tournament and easily defeats him.  Tien proves that he has far surpassed Tao physically and mentally in strenght and character.  Mercenary Tao makes another appearance in DBZ during the Cell Games, were he tries to kill an old man protecting his village.  After confronting Gohan and learning upon his linage to Goku, he runs away.  Mercenary Tao also plays a role in DB movie 3, where he is known as General Tao who works for Emperor Choazu.  He is later defeated by Goku, with help from Arale, who knocks his missiles back at him.

Metallitron/Metallic

Metallitron is a terminator-like Android who battles Goku in Muscle Tower, but loses when his batteries run out.  He is also seen in DB movie 3, where he is known as Major Metallitron and works for Emperor Choazu.  He gets his head knocked off by Goku while trying to retrieve a dragonball, but later shuts down when Goku knocks a hole in him.

Mint/Minto

Krillin, Yamcha, Choatzu, and Tien meet a little girl from a village named Mint while searching for Korin's tower in Dragonball.  After the eruption of a volcano, the gang saves Mint and her village from destruction.

Monster Carrot/Boss Rabbit

Monster Carrot is a bunny-looking guy who is the head of a gang named "The Bunny Rabbit Gang".  Monster Carrot has the ability to turn anyone he touches into a carrot.  Monster Carrot is later beaten by Goku with his power pole after he bullies Goku and his friends.

Mshorin/Migoren

Mshorin is a dog-like alien from the north quadrant who 7,000 years ago fought against evil aliens to protect his planet.  He trains just as others on Grand Kai's planet to one day train under Grand Kai himself.

N

Nam/Namu

Nam participated in the 21st Martial Arts Fighting Tournament so he could win the prize money, which would allow him to return water back to his village.  After losing to Goku and now feeling hopeless for his village, Jackie Chun (Master Roshi in disguise) gives Nam a water tank so he can now take water back to his village.

Nimbus

Nimbus is a flying cloud given to Goku from Master Roshi.  Only someone with a pure heart can ride Nimbus and when Master Roshi sees that Goku can ride Nimbus, he gives Nimbus to him.  Nimbus adds Goku all through DB and mostly through DBZ before the Namek Saga.  Nimbus is later used again by Gohan when he travels back and forth to school.

O

Octagon/Grandma Hakkake

An old lady living by herself in the northern forest, Octagon tricks Chichi into cleaning her entire house by "teaching" her how to be a good wife.  She also provides the Bansho Fan that is suppose to put out the flames trapping Ox King, but it fails to do so.

Oliebu/Olive

Oliebu is considered the greatest fighter from the north quadrant and is from Earth just like Goku.  He now trains on Grand Kai's planet to someday train under Grand Kai himself.  He later fights Pikkon in the afterlife fighting tournament and puts up a great fight, but is eventually knocked out of the ring by Pikkon.

P

Papoi

Papoi is one of South Kai's fighters and is presented to challenge King Kai with Goku.  After South Kai changes Goku's weights to 10 tons and Goku transforms into super saiyan, South Kai backs out of the idea of a challenge.

Pintar

Pintar is a big Arabian guy who fights Krillin in the World's 25th Martial Arts Fighting Tournament (Tenkaichi Budoukai).  He is easily defeated by Krillin with only one hit.

Planthor

Planthor is a white-haired and bearded guy who works in the health care unit in the DBZ Movie of Bardock's Story.

Prowl

Prowl is a frog-like alien who faces off against Maryiko in the afterlife fighting tournament.  Prowl inflates himself larger in order to push Maryiko out of the ring, but Maryiko picks him up and throws him out of the ring for the win.

R

Ranfan/Lanfan

Ranfan fights in the 21st Martial Arts Fighting Tournament.  She uses her sexuality to distract her opponent, leaving them open to her attacks.  When she faces off against Nam she tries the same move.  After Nam remebers his mission, he closes his eyes and knocks Ranfan out cold.

Repo-Robots

These robots come and take the home of a family that Trunks, Pan, and Goku meet on planet Imeka. They take away the home due to unpaid rent.

S

Sarta/Stote

Sarta 3,500 years ago protected his planet from a giant meteor.  He now trains on Grand Kai's planet, along with others, to one day train under Grand Kai himself.

Sigma Force Cannon/Super Mega Cannon Sigma

The Sigma Force Cannon is the combination of all three Sigman Force members. It is stronger and faster, but after Goku learns its moves he destroys it with a kamehameha wave.

Spopovitch/Supopo Bitchi

Spopovitch, along with his companion Yamu, is sent by Babidi to collect energy for the resurrection of Majin Buu.  Spopovitch competes against Videl and nearly kills her, if not for the help of a senzu bean.  Later when Kibito goes up against Gohan, Gohan powers up to super saiyan 2 and is then frozen in place by Kibito.  Spopovitch and Yamu then come into the ring and steel Gohan's energy to take back to Babidi.  Once the energy is given to Babidi, Spopovitch is killed along with Yamu.

Super 17

Super 17 is created when Artificial Android 17 and Android 17 merge together.  Super 17 is extremely powerful, but is eventually killed by Goku with help from 18 (originally known as Android 18).

Super Android 13

Super Android 13 is formed when the parts of Android 14 and 15 combine with Android 13.  Super Android 13 is powerful and almosts defeats the Z Fighters, but Goku eventually kills him.

Super Buu, a.k.a. Majin Buu

Super Buu is formed when Evil Buu absorbs Good Buu (through eating him).  Super Buu is more powerful than Majin Buu and is full of only evil (except towards Hercule and Bee).  Super Buu kills everyone on Earth (except for Hercule, Bee, Piccolo, Goten, Trunks, Tien, and Chiaotzu).  He manages to absorb Gotenks, Piccolo, and Gohan.  He is later defeated by Goku and Vegeta when they remove all of his pods from his head from within.  He then transforms into Kid Buu.

T

Tapka/Tapika

Tapka is a small, bug-looking alien from the west quadrant who's a very fast fighter.  He fights Torbi in the afterlife fighting tournament, but soon gets tired quickly before even punching Torbi and has to forfeit the match.

Tommy

Tommy is a blind boy who encounters Fat Buu while traveling.  Buu wonders why the boy isn't scared and notices that he can't see.  Buu heals the boy's eyes and chats with him for a little while.  After the boy tells Buu that he's pretty on the inside, Buu goes and gets the boy some milk (he changes a person into milk).  After giving the boy the milk, Buu leaves off to create more destruction.

Torah/Toma

Torah is attacked along with the rest of Bardock's group by Dodoria and his men. Before he dies he tells Bardock about Frieza's plan to kill all the saiyans.

Torbi/Torubi

Torbi is a bug-like alien from the south quadrant who fights against Tapka in the first round of the afterlife fighting tournament.  Tapka gets tired quickly and the win goes to Torbi.  Torbi later fights Pikkon, but is easily defeated.

Tournament Announcer/Budoukai Announcer

The announcer for all fighting tournaments (except for the one held 100 years after the end of Dragonball GT), he really loved martial arts.  He was always excited to see Goku and his friends compete in tournaments because they were true martial arts masters on Earth.

Valese is a sweet girl who doesn't get out much. Goten goes on a date with her until Baby attacks him and takes over his body.

Yamu/Yam

Yamu was in the 25th Martial Arts Fighting Tournament (Tenkaichi Budoukai) along with his partner Spopovitch.  Yamu, just as Spopovitch, is sent to the tournament by Babidi to collect energy for the resurrection of Majin Buu.  Yamu is suppose to compete against Jewel in the tournament, but runs out early after taking energy from Gohan during his match with Kibito.  After returning to Babidi with the energy, Spopovitch is killed by Babidi.  Yamu then tries to fly away, but is blasted by Puipui.
